Daniel sawka - Writer & Director
Raised in Stockholm, Daniel is a graduate of the American Film Institute’s MFA Directing program, and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. A classically trained actor, he has performed at some of the most respected theatres in the UK, as well as theatres in Paris and Moscow. Daniel has received several awards including the Arnold Fleming Award at RCS, Best Project Award by the National Board for Youth Affairs, the Emerick Foundation Award - awarded by the Crown Princess of Sweden, as well as two scholarships from the AFI Conservatory. In August 2014, Daniel directed his first pilot for Swedish television at Roy Andersson’s iconic Studio 24.
Camille Cornuel - PRODUCER
Camille Cornuel is a graduate of Panthéon-Assas University and ESG Business School, both located in Paris, France. She holds a BA in Private Law and an MA in Audiovisual Production. Cornuel has worked in production for several feature films, including Academy Award® winner THE ARTIST, and Luc Besson's THREE DAYS TO KILL. She has produced numerous short films through the American Film Institute, and is proud to be committed to this project.
Ian Holliday - cinematographer
Ian Holliday is a recent graduate of the American Film Institute, and is a Los Angeles and Vancouver, BC - based cinematographer. His recent narrative work has screened at festivals internationally, including the Cannes International Film Festival, and Vancouver International Film Festival.
Daniela Medeiros - PRoduction Designer
Daniela Medeiros earned degrees in Architecture, Urbanism and Industrial Design - allowing her to design in different scales From small props to large-scale urban planning. She studied abroad for a semester at the renowned architecture school ETSAM in Madrid, Spain, and for one year at the Visual Arts, Design and Marketing Institute (IADE) in Lisbon, Portugal. She recently graduated from the Masters degree program at AFI. Her international experiences have helped her develop a broad view of culture, as well as a global perspective and aesthetic ranging from classic and contemporary influences.
Ariel Vida - Production Designer
Ariel is a graduate of Michigan State University, and an award-winning filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Ariel has worked in the Art Department on numerous features and commercials, as well as several music videos, for artists including Lord Huron and Childish Gambino.
STEPH PEREZ - EDITOR
Steph Zenee Perez received her M.F.A. at The American Film Institute in Film Editing and is a two-time recipient of The Latino Donor Collaborative scholarship award. Her latest short film had its world premiere at 2015 Tribeca Film Festival and has been selected for both Palm Springs International Film Festival & Nantucket Film Festival. Last summer, Steph also worked as an assistant editor on the feature film, ARAM, ARAM, which is having its world premiere at Los Angeles Film Festival.
